Stripper gets another 4* review on Amazon!

Stripping for Clues

Stripper! was a great murder mystery involving the heroine Nattie McMasters. Nattie seems to be like all young wannabe detectives and is good at getting her nose in places she shouldn’t. Nattie meets a girl at the college, Becca, and before she knows it, she’s wrapped up so tightly in a whirlwind of murder, spying and stripping. Nattie really is an interesting character and Burns does a great job of introducing each character. Each character introduced to the plot was very aptly described and you could get a feel for what the character was going to provide. Sometimes it turned out to be a complete surprise! I enjoyed the book and am interested in Nattie’s future adventures.

One Door Closes, Another Door Opens

In my mind, one of the most important characteristics of Natalie McMasters is her exuberance and unbridled optimism (true, it often gets her in trouble, but that only makes for a good story). So when the narrator for the audiobook of Stripper! quit last week in the middle of the project, I had to channel Nattie to summon the optimism to deal with adversity.

I went back on the ACX website and started hunting narrators again. I contacted over a hundred to find the first one, and I was sure that I’d have to do the same thing again. Only this time, I had a release date and I was already scheduling a blog tour.

Luckily, it only took a few days to receive an audition from Lisa Ware, of Voices from LSWARE. (Check out her website https://lswareonline.com/) Listening to her narration, it was like I was sitting in the 3M office with Amos, Danny and Nattie! I immediately contacted her to propose that she narrate Stripper!, and she accepted!

So the audiobook project is back on track. When it’s released in November, I will have have codes for listeners to get a free copy in exchange for a review on Audible. The Natalie McMasters Mysteries Have Gone Wide!

The big news of the day is that you can now buy the Natalie McMasters e-books from many other distributors besides Amazon and in other formats besides Kindle. Stripper! and Revenge! are no longer on Kindle Unlimited, and Trafficked! will come off at the end of this month.

To celebrate this milestone, the first volume of the series, Stripper!, is available for $0.99 for a limited time from the following distributors.

Stripper! is the first book of the series. It tells of Nattie’s decision to go undercover in a strip club to search for a vicious assassin who killed her best friend and critically wounded her Uncle Amos. It sets the stage for the other books in the series, Revenge! and Trafficked!
